It's a nice hotel.
The room was a top level so with sloping roof. Uncomfortable and hot attic. Do not hold these top floor rooms.

The staff are welcoming in this amazing conversion of several historic buildings in this world heritage town, full of gems to be discovered on walking the streets. The rooms are large and comfortable, with excellent bathrooms (showers). We particularly liked the breakfasts and dinners, providing outstanding food in the heritage setting (but did not try the more gourmet restaurant downstairs). Fish was good, served by friendly staff who speak English, and the wine list provides a good choice of German options. Herring is a speciality, served in various tasty ways. The backdoor from the basement to the car park provides a convenient entrance and exit. We stayed in the summer for two nights, and retruned for four in October.

As a businessman attending a vendor expo, I found the 24-hour front desk, room service, and meeting facilities provided by the hotel to be very convenient for my work needs. The facilities for disabled guests and luggage storage were also appreciated.
The one service that I missed for my work was a business center. It would have been helpful to have a dedicated space with computers and printing facilities to handle any last-minute work requirements.

I rarely submit reviews to Booked.net but in this case will make an exception. The hotel is centred around an old town building that has been stunningly restored, with the basement bar and ground floor breakfast restaurant being particularly impressive. Beyond that, good staff, excellent food and wonderfully individual rooms. At the price I paid it represented excellent value for money, and I presume its relatively inaccesible Stralsund location is the primary reason for this. I'd recommend the place to anybody
Nothing major. You have to be ready to park in the multi story around the corner, but it's only two minutes on foot.

The welcome and professionalism from staff in all departments (even the chambermaid was well aware of security precautions) The food was outstanding, including local specialities - and breakfast was especially good The room was spacious and the shower very good The location, just a few steps from the old square and the harbour front acquarium The car park - not far away when you learn the historic street network
Nothing, so long as you keep aware of where you are in the various restored buildings whose floors don't always match up

Extremely helpful and friendly reception staff. Excellent nearby covered parking. Spacious breakfast/restaurant area. Perfect situation for a short walk to the harbour or the old town.
Huge bathroom but the shower is the wet-room type without a door. The floor by the basin etc gets very wet. A door screen needs installing.
